WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This is an OFSTED-approved paediatric first-aid training that meets the criteria of OFSTED and the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This training will assist anyone working in an Early Years context, such as a Childminder, Teacher, or Nursery Assistant. It's a two-day course that ensures learners are confident and prepared to deal with any paediatric First Aid crisis.
CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT
To ensure that you have acquired the skills and knowledge essential to become a professional Paediatric First Aider, a range of teaching methods will be used, including real-life scenario scenarios and films. Delegates will also participate in hands-on learning activities such as demonstrating CPR and the recovery posture using the given equipment. A multiple-choice exam will be given at the end of the course.
After successfully completing this course, each delegate will be certified as a responsible First Aider in the workplace. The certificate is valid for three years and is automatically accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).
