The Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health course is designed for those who wish to improve their knowledge and awareness of mental health and provide help to others in the workplace by using a mental health action plan and other information gained from this course.
The topic of Mental health has surged in popularity, and with good reason. It has been a taboo topic in recent years, and maybe it still is now, but there is nothing taboo about it when it comes to family, friends, and colleagues. One of the main goals of this course is to identify people who may be affected by it and to teach others how to aid them through a better understanding of the subject. CPR is not the only way to save a life...
Teaching methods will include real-life scenario examples, video, and group activities to ensure that you have gained the knowledge and understanding necessary to promote mental health awareness. This course is available both online and in person with one of our Mental Health and Wellbeing educators. There will be a multiple-choice question paper at the end of this one-day seminar.
After successfully completing the Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health course, each delegate will get a certificate certifying their attendance. Certificates are good for three years and are automatically accredited by the First Aid Awards (FAA).
