BOOK YOUR FIRST AID COURSE TODAY!
The Blended Paediatric First Aid course is approved by OFSTED and meets the requirements and guidelines established by OFSTED and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Anyone working in an Early Years setting, such as a Childminder, Teacher, or Nursery Assistant, will benefit from this course. It's a two-day training that assures participants are confident and prepared to handle any paediatric First Aid situation that arises.
It is a blended course, which means you must complete day 1 on your own before attending day 2 of the course, which will be face-to-face with one of our instructors. Shropshire First Aid Training will release all credentials after the course has been booked and money has been confirmed, allowing you to complete the online module at your own leisure. You must complete the online course before entering the classroom for the second day of the course. A variety of teaching approaches, including real-life scenario examples and films, will be utilised to guarantee that you have obtained the skills and knowledge necessary to become a proficient Paediatric First Aider. Delegates will also take part in practical elements, where they will demonstrate CPR and the recovery posture using the available equipment. At the end of the course, there will be a multiple choice examination.
After successfully completing this course, each delegate will recieve certification to be a responsible Paediatric First Aider within the workplace. Certificates are valid for three years and by default, certificates are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).
