WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The Award in Mental Health First Aid is designed for anyone who would like to improve their knowledge and raise awareness of mental health in themselves and others, such as co-workers and friends.

Discussing Mental health has risen in popularity, and with good reason. It has been a taboo topic in recent years, and maybe it still is now, but there is nothing taboo about it when it comes to family, friends, and co-workers. One of the main goals of this course is to identify people who may be affected by it and to teach others how to aid them through a better understanding of the subject. CPR isn't the only approach towards saving a life...

CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT

Teaching methods will include real-life scenario examples, films, and group activities to ensure that you have gained the knowledge and understanding necessary to promote mental health awareness. This course is available both online and in person with one of our Mental Health and Wellbeing instructors. A multiple-choice exam will be given at the end of the course.

Each delegate will receive a certificate showing that they have successfully completed the Award in Mental Health First Aid course. Certificates are good for three years and are automatically accredited by the First Aid Awards (FAA).
